RC Planes ARF-EPO-PNF

The amazing Durafly Zephyr V-70 is one of the most eagerly anticipated models of the year and with good reason, the V-70 is a triumph of design and engineering, combining stunning good looks with toughness, practicality and heart pumping performance!

The Zephyr is packed with truly innovative features, the first being the highly compressed EPO foam, as well as being tough, the foam has a super smooth texture, adding to it's aerodynamic performance. The wings are carbon reinforced with pre-tensioned glassfiber strips on both sides of the wing to prevent twisting during high-G maneuvers, likewise the fuselage uses a square CF rod down it's length, plus external glassfiber rods. The V-Tail is also CF reinforced and for extra stiffness is secured to the molded rear skid assembly. The large bi-lateral air intakes have been designed to maximise fan performance while minimising drag, which combined with the ultra-thin airfoil and clean, low drag airframe offer jaw dropping performance both on and off the throttle!

This P-40 Warhawk is simply huge for a foam model! Being EPO, it is as tough as you would expect but at the same time, the moulded detailing is simply amazing. Despite it's size, this Warhawk should be easy to transport with it's removable 1pc wing and removable tailplane. The plastic moulded part details, like the very scale exhaust stubs, 3 blade prop/spinner, bomb cradle, .50 Cal machine guns, cockpit detail just go on and on and make for a stunning scale model.

When the FW190 first appeared in the skys over France in 1941, it proved to be a shock to the RAF, totally outclassing the Spitfire Mk V. The radial engined fighter was totally at odds with European thinking of the time, radials were considered to be inferior to liquid cooled "in-line" engines due to excess drag, the FW190 quickly made engineers re-think this idea. When a FW190 was accidentally landed intact in England by a rather lost Luftwaffe pilot, British engineers & test pilots were given the chance to study it extensively, the 190 was found to be highly advanced in many respects and many of its features were to find their way into later Allied aircraft.

The DH Beaver is without doubt one of the most widely know STOL "bush planes" and has become an aviation classic, good looking, powerful, tough and very capable, the Beaver was ideally suited to operating in the most hostile of conditions. As it could also be fitted with floats or ski's, the Beaver became a hugely popular workhorse with both Civilian and Military Operators, despite a slow start, the Beaver became a huge sales success and ranks as one of Canada's most succesful exports.

This H-King Beaver has a superb, high detail scale finish, the airframe is nicely constructed and the covering expertly applied. The model comes with lot's of vac formed parts and even cockpit seats, which combine with the realistic finish to give you a truly fantastic looking scale model that any pilot would be proud to own. With an 1800mm wingspan, the Beaver is a great size and has tons of presence both on the ground and in the air, it is also very practical and features a 2pc plug in wing and all four doors are hinged for easy access.

The Beaver of course was famous for it's superb STOL characteristics and the H-King Beaver does not disappoint, landings are a breeze courtesy of the large flaps which are operated by in internal linkage for a nice clean wing. This fantastic looking DH Beaver is such a pleasure to fly and is very practical, the perfect every day model for even the most demanding RC scale pilots!

The F-86 Sabre was the first US swept wing jet fighter and found fame in the 1950s Korean conflict. The main adversary of the Sabre was the Mig 15, which was superior to the Sabre in terms zoom rate and armament, despite this, the kill ratio in the Korean conflict was 10:1 in favour of the Sabre courtesy of a superb aircraft combined with experienced and aggressive WW2 veteran fighter pilots.

This superb model really looks the part, pre-painted in the RCAF Golden Hawks Display Team livery and featuring plenty of molded panel line detail, this Sabre is a really nice representation of one of the most famous Cold War jet fighters and there is even a full scale cockpit and pilot available to add that final finishing touch*

The good looking airframe is made from super tough EPO foam and is heavily re-inforced with CF rods, each version is nicely finished in an authentic color scheme. One of the first things you notice with this series is the nicely designed modular construction, the wings and horizontal stabilizer literally snap together making assembly and parts replacement simple and fast. No glue is required for assembly, the vertical stabilizer and tough under-carriage simply screw on and the servo's, high power motor and ESC are all pre-fitted. When you look around these brilliant models, you can see that they have been built for performance, not only are they fast...they are also superbly aerobatic! The large control surfaces for instance are fully hinged, the tail assembly has been designed to cope with high G, high speed aerobatic's, not to mention the odd less than perfect landing, the wheels are proper rubber and can cope with suprisingly rough grass strips and if you want to hand-launch, no problem! these brilliant racers fly out of your hand like a scolded cat!

The central fuselage section and winglets are made from sturdy fiberglass, while the wing is sheeted, traditional construction balsa for durability. Despite its size, the Darkwing is practical with both wings being plug in, this model can be field assembled in minutes and is easy to transport. Being a delta, it is of course a simple 2 servo affair, there is a massive amount of space in under the large canopy for Lipolys and FPV equipment, the motor mount is also very substantial, obviously motor choice will depend on payload. The Darkwing has no undercarriage and will require a launch ramp, alternatively, conversion to fixed or even retracting undercarriage will be reasonably simple for the experienced modeller.

The North American Aviation T-6 Texan was a single-engine advanced trainer aircraft used to train pilots of the United States Army Air Forces, United States Navy, Royal Air Force and other air forces of the British Commonwealth during World War II and into the 1950s.
The HobbyKing AT-6 is a very neatly designed EPO parkflyer. This Plug-n-Fly R/C plane comes with a brushless outrunner, ESC and servos all pre-installed. All you need is a 2S battery and receiver.

The Super Seniorita is a nicely built modern EP trainer with an attractive vintage look, it is also the perfect size for club strips.

The airframe is nicely constructed and the Seniorita has been expertly covered, there is a really nice to the overall quality of the ARF which comes with very comprehensive instructions that are ideal for the new pilot. The Super Seniorita is also very practical and features a removable wing for easy transport and a quick access battery hatch.

As the saying goes, the bigger they are...the better they fly and this attractive looking model is no exception, the Super Seniorita ticks all the right boxes for a club size trainer and general sport model, it is cheap and easy to build, looks great and flies well...learn to fly....with style!

Like the full size NXT, this model looks like it is doing 400mph even when it is standing still, it is a great size but also practical courtesy of the 2pc plug in wings. The superbly painted fuselage is fiberglass and features a large removable canopy for easy access, the wings and horizontal stabilizer are made from balsa, the wing also features fiberglass wingtips. The hardware kit comes with full alloy fixed under-carriage, the Nemesis is retract ready and the supplied Oleo leg's can be removed from the fixed mount to use with retracts if desired. The wing tube and tailplane joiners are all solid CF rod, another indicator that this is a high performance model.

This Park Flyer scale Balsa/ply J3 Cub ARF is a nice size and can be finished with inexpensive components, offering excellent value for money and the satisfaction of building something that requires a little more work than your average foamy.

With such a low AUW and a high wing configuration, an inexpensive, low kv motor and a nice big slow fly prop will produce superb, scale flight performance and excellent flight times, only 3 servo's are required and with this being a scale model with small throws, simple 9g analog servos will be perfect.

HobbyKing Coota comes ready to fly, complete with the large diameter powerful DAT-700 brushless outrunner, ESC, and servos. All you need is a 2S battery (around 1800mAh) and recevier to be flight ready.
